It is durable and very cute. The 3 figurines that it comes with are chunky so she won swallow any small pieces. Worth the price and is a great gift Great value and very cute    Pay attention to the model numbers...several have been discontinued. The ones that make sounds and require batteries have been discontinued. We have L9502 no sounds. This was very easy to put together...just snap on the balcony and patio and you are good to go. No little stickers to put on!!! My daughter 2 was able to play with this immediately out of the box. Her older brother 4 and sister 4 were fighting for a turn to play with it as well. I like that it does not come with a million little pieces. You may want to purchase at least one add on because there is no bed included for any of the dolls. Bedtime is very important around here Not Just for Fisher Price Dolls    My now 5-year-old daughter received this when she was 2. Shes used it ever since, with various dolls and toys and furniture making its way into the various rooms. A few times, Ive washed the dollhouse in the shower to get it really clean and dust free. It works great. Ive also used cleaning wipes to remove crayon and other stray marks. The dollhouse is very durable and easy to transport up and down stairs and to Nana and Papas house. My 6-year-old son sometimes plays with my daghter, so two children can play with it at the same time. My daughter now, at 5, would prefer a dollhouse that could fit Barbie dolls, but she still uses the FP dollhouse for her other myriad dolls and their pets Ripoff    Please do not buy this from Amazon. You can get it at Walmart for $29 with 0.97 shipping to your home, or free site to store pickup. This is a great toy, my 2.5 year old loves it. We are now looking for the Loving Family Grand Dollhouse, but due to really high prices will wait for her 3rd birthday in May to get it A great starter dollhouse    We got this for our grand-daughter for her 2nd birthday, and when she unwrapped it she absolutely fell in love with it. In addition to her excitement, her 6-year-old brother was also fascinated - the two of them must have spent more than two hours with the dollhouse, in spite of the fact that there were other presents around to play with. Now she plays with it every day, puys the little people figures that came with it to bed while she takes her nap, cooks meals in the kitchen for them, helps them go potty, etc. The only drawback weve found is that the accessory kits extra room furniture are expensive relative to the price of the dollhouse itself; also you should get only one or twotops. If you get all of the kits they won all fit in the dollhouse together. For our preferences, one accessory kit only would do nicely. We would definitely give this between four- and five-stars, deducting only for the issue with the accessory kits Playroom staple    I bought this toy when my daughter was about 12 months old and at almost 3 1/2 it is still played with often. Such a basic, imaginative toy--even my 5 and 7 year old nephews play with it! My daughter also loves the Little People and they fit in/go with this house perfectly. Some say the furniture doesn fit in the house well: first, kids don play with it perfectly! Some rooms are on the floor, some outside the house, etc. Having lots of furniture makes it great for keeping the house fresh by changing it out often. Its a pretty cool toy that can hold a toddlers attention for a few minutes ... and this one she played with all day after receiving it. Her mom can believe it. The hit of our daughter's second birthday    I honestly wasn sure our daughter was ready for a dollhouse at age 2, but put it on her birthday list because it looked fun. Wow, this gift was the hit of her birthday! She plays with it all the time. The pieces are nice and sturdy, able to stand up to a two-year-old. I love the fact that its a quiet toy and that its all up to our daughters imagination. She has the best time making the parents walk around the house and putting the baby on the potty, creating her own stories as she plays mimicking a lot of what we say. Very cute! We e all getting a lot of enjoyment out of this toy. We bought a couple of the additional rooms, which was a wise investment. It allows for more creative play with the house and they e not that expensive. The surprising benefit to this dollhouse is that our five-year-old son likes it, too! Highly recommend this dollhouse great first dollhouse    my daughter LOVES this dollhouse. Its for C-mas, but I got it out to make sure everything was there. Well, my 17 mo old saw it and LOVED it, even when it was not all put together. When I tried to box it up, she threw a fit. The people are just the right size for chubby toddler hands. The chairs are a little hard for a toddler to get one of the people to sit in them. There are also a few sounds, but not so many that it discourages imagination. It seems very durable. I know there are a few extra ooms you can get to add furniture recommended because this house comes with very little, but the house is not too big, so not sure how all the available accessories will fit, but I am sure they will. Average and should be cheaper    I think they are just charging more for the brand name. This should have been cheaper. Of course my 3 years old loved it but its not great. Looks sturdy and colorful. But there is not much room for anything extra. Comes with 3 dolls and certain accessaries. Its not bad if you want something small for small space. I havent given the doll house to my grand daughter and seen her reaction yet.....so I am unable to give it 5 stars at this time.
